Large format printing up to 320 cm — exhibition panels and wall graphics

DIFOART produces large format exhibition printing for museums, galleries, artists and institutions at its studio in Seyrantepe, Istanbul: wall graphics, display panels, backlit duratrans and lightbox units, canvas and mounted panels. Single-piece printing runs up to 320 cm wide. Printing, mounting, framing and on-site installation are handled in one studio, so exhibition production is not split across suppliers. DIFOART has been a Hahnemühle Certified Studio Gold since 2013.
What we produce for exhibitions

- Wall graphics — wallpaper and self-adhesive wallpaper
- Display panels — mounted on 5 mm Forex or Dibond aluminium composite
- Direct-to-substrate UV printing — printed onto the sheet, no vinyl overlay
- Duratrans and backlit units — light-transmitting film, integrated even lighting
- Lightboxes — aluminium frame, produced to any required size and type
- Canvas — printed directly onto canvas, stretched on kiln-dried imported pine
- Fine art panels — Hahnemühle paper, Forex mounting, aluminium subframe
- Difoplex — acrylic and aluminium sandwich using acid-free materials
- Lenticular (3D) printing

- One-way vision — perforated window film; the image reads from outside while the view from inside stays open

- Mesh — perforated canvas for building envelopes, UV printed, with at least three years of outdoor durability

- Vinyl — printed on the gloss or matte face, for indoor and outdoor decorative and promotional use
Printing technologies and size limits

Latex and UV printing — 150 cm and 320 cm print widths. Wall graphics, panels and direct-to-substrate work are produced on these systems. Length is limited by roll size.

Durst Lambda — chromogenic (C-print) laser exposure onto true photographic paper, 127 cm print width, perceptual resolution equivalent to 4000 dpi. For exhibition photographs this is the method that preserves photographic character.

Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-6100 — archival pigment (giclée) printing, 150 cm print width. For art papers and work that must last.

Mounting and assembly sizes:

- Dibond panel — up to 150 x 500 cm

- Forex panel — up to 200 x 300 cm

- Lightbox — up to 150 x 250 cm

- Canvas — up to 150 cm wide

Work beyond these sizes is produced as joined panels, with seam positions agreed at the design stage.

Surfaces, mounting and supports

- Forex (5 mm PVC) — light, rigid, smooth; aluminium subframe on the back

- Dibond — aluminium composite panel, flat and stable, long-lasting

- Difoplex — clear acrylic + aluminium composite, pressed with acid-free materials

- Forex Difoplex — acrylic + 5 mm Forex + aluminium subframe

- Aluminium subframe — invisible from the front, holds the work slightly proud of the wall

The subframe also serves as the hanging system; panels arrive ready to mount.

Glazing and surface protection

- Museum glass — non-reflective, renders colour accurately

- Matobel — matt anti-reflective surface treatment, neutral appearance

- Clear glass — transparent, economical presentation

- Lamination — surface protection for exhibitions open to touch

Frequently asked questions

What is the largest size you can print?

Up to 320 cm wide in a single piece; length is limited by roll size. For mounted work, Dibond goes to 150 x 500 cm and Forex to 200 x 300 cm. Larger work is produced as joined panels.

What materials are available for wall graphics?

Wallpaper and self-adhesive wallpaper. On rigid surfaces we can also print directly onto the sheet with UV, instead of applying vinyl.

Do exhibition panels arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Forex and Dibond panels receive an aluminium subframe on the back; it acts as both support and hanging system and holds the panel slightly proud of the wall.

Do you produce backlit work?

Yes. We print on light-transmitting duratrans film and backlit paper; aluminium lightbox frames are made to any size up to 150 x 250 cm.

Do you install as well as print?
